Indeed, and I'd be the _last_ to complain about that ;-)
'nuff said. FWIW, I'd recommend you get your head wrapped around the RemoteObject stuff once you're done pushing pixels with ease, because it really does take away a whole tier of frustrating development sending data back and forth over the wire. The RemoteObject implementation is an unsung Flex hero IMHO (apart from data-binding Matt, that's cool too :) )
Certainly looking forward to being able to use the RemoteObject stuff once I get the basic design and maybe a working beta of the app put together. One step at a time...
