Make sure you are running the latest version of DirecX(9x). What you describe can happen with version 7 or lower.

I run the program flex-15-win.exe, which starts up the small screen mentioning Install Shield, the progress bar gets upto 99%, then the screen disappears, and nothing else happens. When I check in windows task manager, there are 2 flex processes running, flex-15-win.exe and flex.exe. I have installed a couple of flex servers already on other test boxes, and they have had no problems at all. Where do I look to see what the problem is, are there any log files?
