I’m not sure what you mean.  Every MXML file is itself a class and can be referred to in ActionScript as a class.  All public properties of a class are available as attributes.

Subject: [flexcoders] Defining classes / attributes in mxml

I was wondering if there is a way to define classes and attributes
in MXML as is done with Laszlo?  If not, may I suggest this as an
enhancement to future versions of Flex.

Thanks.
