In Chapter 20 of the book,
also available as a free PDF
download here,
you will see how an application using the same design
patterns (largely)
as Cairngorm, is constructed, from requirements all the
way through to
delivery.
Can I suggest that you work through that
application, until you are
happy that you understand it ?
In
seriousness, don't persevere with Cairngorm or any other
application
framework for that matter, until you're happy you've got a good
grasp of
how to build prototype applications with the technology, that
don't
require an application infrastructure like Cairngorm.
