Can you debug a non-Cairngorm application? Are you aware of the current issue with Flex Builder that means if you use the CairngormApplication tag you can't preview your application. If you are using CairngormApplication, perhaps you can try debugging just a single-page app using the Application tag, then methodically replace that with a CairngormApplication tag, then build up from there ? Once again, I'm not quite sure that Cairngorm is your issue here, but that it's a more general issue with your development with Flex...
