Whoa. I feel like someone when I can get Kevin to respond. Indeed, what we did was to use Chris's source-file with Matt's hack. I asked some of the FlashCom gurus if they knew a workaround, but they didn't.
I posted a request for added documentation on integrating the Media components with Flex. The example Chris/Matt have is the only one using AS 2.0.
