Final (I hope) observation on this issue: yes, I can still cause a Flex app be clipped (by changing selecting browser tabs and selecting/deselecting Full Screen view), but now after switching back to the Flex app's browser tab (in which the Flex app is clipped), a final toggle of Full Screen view unclips the Flex app in Normal View.
