As Foreman of a residential construction project, you are asked to bet your company on a single tool. Will it be a hammer or a saw? Choose one. Flex is a powerful technology for building rich internet applications--in my opinion, the very best technology for what it does. But it is no silver bullet. Neither is any other technology. Use each tool when it is appropriate. Otherwise you end up with carpenters that try to drive nails with the handle of a saw.
