Exactly. I would like to use optimistic locking and
want to make sure that the "update_ts" on the client
matches what was stored in the db.... that's why need
to refresh the data on the client after the data was
updated.... the "update_ts" gets populated via
database trigger...

In the meantime if the update_ts was altered, raise an
error to refresh the data before editing.
