Set the DataGrid to resize with the Panel. Then the scrollbars should show up. <mx:Panel> <mx:DataGrid height="100%" /> </mx:Panel> <!-- when the panel resizes, the datagrid will too --> I'm surprised that the Panel's scrollbars don't show up.
