Hi Tom, Yes that is very much possible but remember size of splash/preloader should be small otherwise application would take sometime to download those things before showing an actual preloader.
You need to write a custom class for the same, look at the following links. http://livedocs.macromedia.com/flex/15/flex_docs_en/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/ht ml/wwhelp.htm?context=Flex_Documentation&file=00000325.htm http://www.markme.com/eanderson/archives/006489.cfm -abdul -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, April 21, 2005 5:30 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [flexcoders] Modified loading screen Is it possible to make a kind of splash screen by adding an image to the loading/initializing bar that starts every Flex application? Or - is there a way to use an animated graphic image instead of the standard bar? - Tom Yahoo! Groups Links Yahoo!
