Also, if you are (Busing Flex Builder you can see your trace output without doing any special (Bconfiguration or writing out to a log. Simply preview your file inside Flex (BBuilder by pressing the "debug" button and then click the tab for the (B"Output Panel" to view any trace output as your app runs.

You need to use Flash debug player and (B configure it for tracing. All trace
messages would be logged to a log (B file.
