Sounds to me like Flex works fine, FlexBuilder does not.
Flex when it times out will work fine as a standalone dev server.
FlexBuilder, however, will not, and you will have to either A> call support
and get an extension, B> sign up for a Non-Developer License, C> Use
another editor like Emacs, Vim, Dreamweaver, etc. or D> purchase Flex.
