You probably only installed the debug version of Flash Player 7 Active-X which would explain why it is in IE only. This isn't a bad thing - I suggest you don't worry about tracking down a debug version for FireFox so that you can have a normal and debug version on your machine - debug for debugging, normal for real-world/performance testing.
