yes, that did help alot, and here is what i did...just added your
pause() to the function call


function triggerHideEffectMediaPlayback()
{
  // this triggers the hideEffect on MediaPlayback.
  MediaPlayback.visible = false;
  this.MediaPlayback.myMediaPlayBack.pause();
}
