Dont know much about it, but I noted that quite a number of people in
different places har issues regarding the fact that the Flash Player
object allocation, garbage collection is buggy / has bad design.
When this is put together with the fact that browsers like Internet
Explorer does not enforce the limit of available memeory for each
plugin (e.g. the Flash Player) there is a very serous and potential
problem here.
An real-world example was a guy in the IT-department of a large corp.
that had implemented their Intranet Business Applications in Flex.
They had to force a shutdown of the any browser-window after every
couple of days in order for it not to BRING DOWN the entire updated
WinXP SP2 machine on which it was running. The problems started when
the employees used the Flex intranet as an ordinary application and
therefore never closed the main-browser window.
