Hi Steven,

Thanks for your email. I went through the previous discussions on the list. I finally got the store application to work. I put the absolute path for the db folder in store.cfg and removed the log4j-1.2.8.jar file from the lib folder and it all started working.

Thanks,

Amit

Amit; there were numerous discussions on the list previously about this
similar problem - essentially, there will be an inconsistency between where
you are saying the database resides with the JDBC URL specified in
store.cfg, and where you have placed the store.

What's in store.cfg ?

Steven

Subject: [flexcoders] Cairngormstore

Hi There,

I am trying to install the cairngormstore sample application and it keeps
giving me "Products Could Not be retrieved" alert.

All the applications files are at
c:\mmcourses\Flex\jrun4\servers\default\cairngormstore

Database files are at
c:\mmcourses\Flex\jrun4\servers\default\db\catalog.properties
c:\mmcourses\Flex\jrun4\servers\default\db\catalog.script

Conf files are at
c:\mmcourses\Flex\jrun4\servers\default\cairngormstore\WEB-INF\classes\log4j
.properties
c:\mmcourses\Flex\jrun4\servers\default\cairngormstore\WEB-INF\classes\store
.cfg

I am running Flex on the integrated JRun server and I'm using the
flex.config file provided with the sample.

The flex server console shows these two errors

Error: org/apache/log4j/Layout
Error: An error occurred during service invocation

Please help.

Regards,
Amit Gupta
