Not ideal, but you could also convert them to FlashPaper and load them directly into your app.

Perhaps host the whole thing in a JSP page and an IFrame (which will dynamically point to your PDF file) and use _javascript_ to bind the two together…

Hello flexcoders,

How can I render a pdf document in a Flex container
(panel)?  I have some library of pdf documents that I
would like to display them within the app, no pop-ups
or things like that... I'd like to be able include the
pdfs at runtime...
