Oh, one more thing that may help with this... If I take the XML sent by Flex for the saveFoo() request and try to validate it, I get the following:
The namespace prefix is not allowed to start with the reserved string "xml". <xmlns:soapenc xsi:type="xsd:string">http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/</xmlns:soapenc> I'm no XML expert, but doesn't the xmlns stuff normally belong on attributes?
