I actually gave FlexLib a look on GoogleCode before posting here, but I only looked at the component list there and the flexlib.scheduling package is not listed there...
After your post I took a deeper look into the code itself and the examples, and Lo and behold! The Timeline and ScheduleViewer are exactly what I need! Thanks a lot man! and of course, thanks to the developers :) Gotta love the Flex community!
