I've come up with an approach to maximizing an arbitrary component (think Flexbuilder when you double click on an editor tab or other tab). It involves re-parenting the maximized component, and I'm concerned that I might be making my life difficult when it comes to effects, eg. resize effects.
Worst case, I suppose I could take a snapshot image and zoom or resize that. Any words of wisdom?
