Try using a label in a custom head renderer and set the tooltip on the label…

yea, im trying to figure out the same thing for DataGridColumn headers. I'm looking thru DataTips right now, and it seems like the way to go.

I've tried

showDataTips ="true"

and then dataTipField = "someField in my model"

and still no luck :-/ if i make any progress i will post the code. Could u do the same :-)
