This shouldn't really be hard at all. Have you actually tried it and are running into difficulties? You need to make sure your x values are in the format that Date() likes, and if using a DateTimeAxis doesn't work, you can use a LinearAxis and a custom axis label function. If you want a stairstep instead of a straight line between points, that's also possible with a certain property/style of the series.
