No can do, unfortunately. It's something I really want too, so you're not alone! Hopefully it's coming soon, though I haven't heard much about any new versions of AIR, so I'm not holding my breath :(
It's a real shame AIR is closed source really, I'd like to see it become a real competitor with Java on the desktop.
