You might have some other process listening on port 2038 on the vista machines?
You can run "netstat -a -o | grep 2038" to see if that is true and which
process id opened that port.Jeff From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Bart Ronsyn Sent: Thursday, September 18, 2008 4:54 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [flexcoders] Livecycle problem - multiple rtmp services and Windows Vista Hello, I have the following setup : an mxml application which uses Livecycle at the server side. The application uses a Data Management Service and a Message Service simultanously. I first added the same rtmp-channel "my-rtmp" to both services. The rtmp-channel was binded to port 2038 on the server. The application worked without problems under Windows XP and Linux, but on Windows Vista machines, the Message Service and Data Management Service did not work properly (they actually did nothing). I succeeded to solve the problem to by using two different rtmp-channels for the two services ("my-rtmp" binded to port 2038 on the server and "my-rtmp2" binded to port 2039 on the server), but I would like to understand what caused the problem on Windows Vista machines ... If you have any idea, let me know ! Kind regards, Bart
