Hi Jack,
Take a look at mx.skins.halo.TabSkin
This class is not like the ButtonSkin, you can see in this line exactly what
the skin is doing.
case "upSkin":
{
var upFillColors:Array =
[ falseFillColors[0], falseFillColors[1] ];
You will need to implement your own skin for that functionality.
