I have a combobox that has a change listener that triggers a function to refresh the contents of a tree component. If the user uses the mouse to select the item from the combobox, the tree refreshes with the new content beautifully. If the user selects the combobox with the mouse but then hit a letter on the keyboard to jump to the item in the list starting with that letter, it jumps to that item, the combobox closes but the tree associated with the change function is not triggered. Do I need to add a keyDown listener? Should the change listener handle key clicks that change the item selection in the list too? Could I be doing something wrong here?
