I found the error is caused because var fileToUpload:File = new File(path+"captureTest.flv"); is expecting a File object and not a String (path+"captureTest.flv").
The problem I have is that I have no idea what constitutes a File Object. Using the File.browse the file selected passed an event and the upload method can take thee File object as event.target, but again I don't know how that object is made in case I want to create one without using the browse method for File. I traced the event.target, but it is giving me [Object, FileReference].Hence I am clueless.
