This doesn't directly address your question, but I saw a presentation by Michael Labriola (http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid1733261879? bclid=1729365228&bctid=1741212660) that suggests you should use describeTypeCache instead of describeType, as it just reads stored information without running the introspection again. It's somewhere buried in the middle. Unfortunately, there's not a text version of this and there's no slide index, so it can be a pain getting to that information. OTOH, if you've never seen the presentation before, it's probably valuable to watch it all the way through. HTH; Amy
