Fotis, you may be right, but messing with the hosts file and the crossdomain file did fix the problem for me, albeit on a Linux box. It probably also matters what the setup for his Tomcat is too. It puzzled me too, because I am accustomed to having "localhost" resolve correctly, though its in the hosts file by default on *nix OSes.. dunno what Windows does.
If the problem is resolving "localhost" the solution is in the places we pointed him....
