A quick google of "Flex get IP address" brings up a bunch of possibilities for this... The first of which ( http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/communityengine/index.cfm?event=showdetails&postId=3462&productId=2 ) shows an example using ColdFusion in a simple format... shouldn't be hard to replicate in PHP...
