I kinda did this the other day by mistake ;-} I use FlexMDI (Part of FlexLib) to create windows in my applications. I created a window and then set Application.application.enabled = false expecting the whole kaboodle to be blurred (This while a server request was going on). Lo and behold, the window was still usable and the background was blurred. This was not what I wanted but may be what you want.
