Don't use an HBox wrapper if possible. The editor must implement IFocusManagerComponent. I think Peter Ent's blog has a tutorial on custom editors.

I have a Datagrid with 2 columns with Item Editor which has an hbox and a textinput. After editing the first column, when they hit tab it has to go to the next column in the datagrid. I am capturing a key event and try to focus to the next datagrid column. I was using focusManager.setFocus(dgcol2). But it is not working. Can someone help me? Thank you so much in advance.
