I made something like that where I use Flex to develop my UI and store the login info in XML file on the server. To read and write data to that xml file I use server side language PHP though amfPHP , Encryption can be done using action script library as3crypto but in my project we use JavaScript and PHp for encrytping these credentials on the wire (through the network).
