Please forgive me if the is a post about this already but i can't seem to find it.
I am creating an AIR app to convert characters into their HTML entity, hex and dec value and I have just come across an issue. I am reading in xml files which contain the data, these files are saved in a UTF-8 format. When I open it using a Filestream it stops after the first 3 characters "ÿþ<". I know that these characters are the start of a unicode document, but I can't figure out why it is stopping reading the file there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
