Yes, actually i did so. I ran an URLLoader against different backend api calls. Those are usually defined values for server-side calls.
I had a slighty overhead: ~80 - 120ms + parsing the data and adding it into an ArrayCollection compared to the values i got via Charles. So i can be sure that an HTTP request done by Air (ActionScript/Flex) will not behave differently then a HTTP request by another application? And we should take a look in some other corners of the system?
