yes. in my checkbox cellrenderer after creating the checkbox i added
an event listener for click eg
function createChildren() {
// check is a variable
check = createClassObject(CheckBox, "check", 1, {styleName:this,
owner:this});
check.addEventListener("click", this);
...
}
then in the click event i add an eventlistener which i can dispatch
to the parentDocument..... i.e. the form which the datagrid sits on
eg
function click(){
...
this.addEventListener("myEvent", this.parentDocument);
this.dispatchEvent({type:"myEvent"});
...
}
you can add the eventlistener to the listOwner/parent (the datagrid,
list) if you wanted to
