Speaking as someone who has no clue about SVG (actually that's not entirely true, I know SVG stands for Scalable Vector Graphics), I point you to DENG: http://wahlers.com.br/claus/blog/display-svg-in-97-of-all-web-browsers/ You could load DENG into a Flex application using the Loader component.
