Sorry for not being clear. I want to transfer a file (image or document) to my back end PHP using flex. I then want PHP to convert the file to binary and store the data into a database. I think I know how to do that. I then want to be able to retrieve that data from a query to the back end via flex and then have the user download the file (in the correct file format). Can the 2nd part be done with flex, retrieving the file???
