Is Chocolate Ice Cream Better than Vanilla? It's really more of an opinion than a provable fact. I've done both, read a bunch of books and watched some of the videos on Lynda.com.
I found them both very helpful, the videos more so than the books at the beginning and the books more helpful now that I know "some" flex. However, it may have been that the videos had the newbie more in mind than the books did, or at least the books I had at the time. I would recommend checking out Lynda.com and going through the basic Flex training, then getting several of the Flex books that appeal to what you want to get out of Flex.
