The ASDoc compiler usually takes one pass through the code rather than the multiple passes like the regular compiler, so if your app won't compile in a single pass, the ASDoc can't be made.
Usual culprits are classes that use dispatchEvent(...) without extending EventDispatcher but DO have Bindable tags. Gk.
