Hi, I am trying to understand a weird behavior i am observing when trying to use the alpha property.
Please see this image: http://ariel-jakobovits.com/AJ/images/flex/browserControlsAlpha.png I am trying to fade out a box of internet browsing controls when the mouse is rolled-out because the controls are placed over the html control. When i set the alpha property of the container (HBox), clearly the background of the box and the buttons themselves are all affected, but there is a clear variation in the coloring. The box is styled with a background image, and the buttons are skinned with images as well.
