What if you use something like afterEffects to embed an image on top of the middle of the video with a blendmode that inverts on the image colors, then simply overlay that same image in your player with the reverse blendmode. They can record all they want, but if they don't have the image to invert the middle of the video, they'll have a crap copy with a middle that doesn't make any sense.
