I have a form with 3 Custom Components on it. I want to be able to click a single button on the form (button is not in any of the custom components) that will submit the form. But I'm confused as how to do this?
From what I understand, I somehow need to get all three custom components to throw an event at the same time, yes? And to have them throw these events when a button is clicked, and said button is not a part of any of the three components. Therein lies my confusion. How do I do this? Or would it just be easier to combine all three components into one giant component that contains the submit button? Seems like bad programming practice to me, tho. There's gotta be a way to keep the three components separate, and have a submit button on the main form that will trigger the "submit" event in all three components simultaneously, I would think -- I just can't figure out how to do it.
