I guess my problem could be summed up like this: How do you get a child to listen to events that occur in the parent? The button-click will take place in the parent form, but adding an EventListener to the child doesn't seem to do anything, even if I set bubbles=true when I create the event. So how do you set an EventListener to listen for events in the parent?
