Check to make sure your
web-inf/flex/system_classes folder is still around and toplevel.as is in
there. That’s where unescape is. I’d also clear out your
web-inf/flex/generated directory and see if that clears things up. From: I
had just yesterday added escape/unescape to a string I was saving, and it
worked fine. This afternoon, I started to get type mismatch errors:
“unescape found where String expected”, corrected that with a cast,
and now I am getting this general error whenever I try to run my app. It
is as though some native Flex code got corrupted (I didn’t do it!!! On
purpose anyway.). Would
the fix be to re-deploy the flex.war file? Or would __Packages.unescape be
somewhere else? Unescape is a native ActionScript command right? I
tried rebooting for the type mismatch error but that didn’t fix that, but
I’ll try it now… No, reboot didn’t fix it. Removing the
command got me going, but I really need that command! Thanks
