I've got an application I created for a chain of stores, that when losing focus for a moment - ie when the admin flips to another interface -- upon return/getting focus, it draws it's entire interface again and basically takes a few seconds of receiving event dispatches to get into shape again.
I'm not sure how best to handle this as it seems it's something happening at the core of a flex app; but is there a way to 'force' flex/flash to keep getting updates while even in the background?
