I haven't been able to find any examples of this, which is frustrating, since I believe this should be an easy task.
I want to display a canvas (or any other sprite) which simply places a gray overlay over the entire grid/list with some message in the middle. In java this would be as easy as using the component's glasspane, but I haven't been able to find anything similar. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
