Nithya-

Subclass means extending Button component and adding multiline facility.
You can also create your own component.

I will suggest you to read fundamentals about ActionScript and Flex.
Once you know fundamentals, these questions would become obivous and you
would know the answers yourself.

You can read ActionScript from Flex docs or any book(ActionScript: The
Definitive Guide and Essential ActionScript 2 by Coolin Moock etc). Read
flex documentation about different controls, containers etc. You will
find sections talking about customization of components or creating new
component.

Check out flex dev net on macromedia.com for Flex articles, search
flexcoders archives on how to create Flex component in MXML or
ActionScript....

        The Button control doesn't support multi-line labels. You would
have to write a subclass to do this.

        i am not able to send you the full code since its too large...

        i use it in the viewhelper

        labels.bundle.BTN_ENTRY  = label.BTN_ENTRY_1.French
label.BTN_ENTRY_2.French;

        and display it in buttonlabel like this:

        <mx:Button id="Btn_Entry"
label="{helper.labels.bundle.BTN_ENTRY}"/>

        if u are not able to get it , then i shall build a small code
and send it again...

        thanks
