I got a message saying 'click here to request to be migrated to the new message search' (paraphrased) when looking at another Yahoo! Group, and found this in their blog (http://www.ygroupsblog.com/blog/2009/07/08/bug-update-782009/) so I think they're getting on to this, probably after they fix the RepDB problem.
